Alexandra Karanikolou LTD provides translation, subtitling, proofreading and editing of the highest standards in the industry, working in collaboration with a select team of translation professionals. Major clients include Netflix Preferred Vendors. 

Alexandra Karanikolou LTD was founded in 2016 by Greek professional translator/subtitler/proofreader Alexandra Karanikolou, who has worked in the industry since 1993.

Alexandra has translated thousands of films, documentaries and episodes series, for all kinds of media: DVD/VHS, television channels, theatrical release, working with major subtitling companies, as well as private clients, in Europe and USA.

Alexandra's name is inextricably linked with the Greek subtitling of the wildly successful TV series Friends, which is shown on Greek TV channel Star every weekend continuously since 1994.

​

For five years she taught a subtitling seminar in a translation school in Athens, training new subtitlers, and she is a member (administrator) of the prominent Greek translation forum Lexilogia.

​

She is also working with medical technology companies, translating, proofreading and editing medical device manuals and software.
